I’ve been a fan of Theodore Roosevelt since I was a young girl when I first got a Samantha American Girl doll. For my ninth birthday, I even had an early 1900s-themed birthday party complete with petit fours and fancy dresses.
Since then I’ve learned a lot more about our twenty-sixth president and his world, especially working as a year-long intern for the Theodore Roosevelt Center at Dickinson State University and in my current position at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.
I created this monthly newsletter to share the fascinating stories I’ve discovered about TR and his world. Each month you’ll receive a new story that helps fill in a “missing piece” about the life and times of TR.
I love to hear from readers, so please feel free to leave a comment regarding topics you’d like to see featured in the newsletter.
Thanks for your interest in Missing Pieces, and happy reading!
